OUR STORY

Founded in 1972 in the heart of London by my parents, Paterson Riley and Carol Lehtonen-Riley, The Great Frog continues to adhere to the values set out by its founders; creating bold statement jewellery, timeless in its execution and unorthodox in its symbolism, which over time has become a contemporary brand steeped in heritage.

I've taken up the mantel of Creative Director and Head Designer, having served as an in-house apprentice spanning some 30 years, and I've continued to evolve the brand globally whilst honouring the family tradition of bringing era-defining jewellery to life.

EXPLORE BY ERA

OZZY OSBOURNE

Ozzy's management asked us to design a commemorative pendant for Ozzy Osbourne ahead of the 'Back to the Beginning' show. Reino created a weighty 18ct yellow gold showstopper for Ozzy based on the Birmingham coat of arms.

We had Ozzy's blessing to release the official collaboration immediately after the show, including the replica pendant and an Ozzy crest ring.

Palace

The Great Frog and Palace joined forces for a collection comprising of jewellery, apparel and a skate deck. A collaboration all about expressing yourself, inspired by the skating community as well as both TGF and Palace's shared punk subversive nature.

TGF EYEWEAR

Our debut eyewear collection with legendary eyewear designers and manufacturers, Cutler and Gross, is born, combining over 100 years of artisan craft. Iggy Pop launched the inaugural campaign, shot in his home city of Miami. Debbie Harry fronted the 2025 collection shot at Hotel Chelsea, New York.

We've worked closely with Supreme on two projects collaborating with iconic Japanese brands Bounty Hunter in 2023 and Yohji Yamamoto in 2025.

SAMMI

Longtime customer and good friend Sammi Jefcoate has worked closely with Reino over the years on various items, reflecting Sammi's passion for design, tattoos and all things beautiful. A collection that has been intentionally made with mixed sterling silver and 9ct gold, including the unique Rose Bracelet and charms and the popular Rose Signet.
